here’s a run down of the styles of Yoga I teach and practice

YOGA CLASSES

All of my classes combine the ancient alchemy of the study of the soul, Yoga, using Pranayama, Asana, Meditation, (and often mantras & mudras) with intelligent, sequencing to build strength, mobility, integrity and resiliency in your body. All our classes will include asana, pranayama, a LONG Savasana and often Meditation. 

 

AWAken flow

FOUNDATIONAL, NURTURING, CONNECTED.

Awaken Flow  is my Foundational Level, Slow Vinyasa flow, that will give you all you need to build the foundations of your yoga practice. This class invites you to awaken to your full potential.  It will guide you through a gentle, yet strengthening yoga practice with a focus on finding steadiness, & ease, through intelligent alignment, pranayama (breath work), and meditation.  Experience a nurturing class that will leave you with a deeper connection to your heart, soul and body both, on and off the mat.

This class is for all levels, catering to beginner’s looking for a safely guided introduction into yoga, as well as those have practiced yoga before, but haven't stepped on a mat for a while and for those yogis who would like to "refine, & align" and rediscover the slower paced style of yoga, keeping a connection to their practice. 

TUESDAY’S: 530pm 75 Mins || SUNDAY’S 9am 90 Mins

ignite flow

DYNAMIC, ENERGETIC, FLUID.

This class is a Vinyasa Flow class and is designed to Ignite your practice.  A dynamic, energetic and fluid based Flow class that will leave you glowing from the inside out. You will flow to powerful sequences aimed at skilfully transitioning you from one posture to the next, to dive deep into your body, then your soul, unraveling and releasing what ever is needed on that day. This flow is for ALL levels, newer yogis will be given modifications and more experienced Yogis will be guided to progress at their pace. 

Expect to be challenged, maybe get sweaty but to always leave with a big smile on your face.

If you've not done Yoga before, best to head to an Awaken Flow before progressing to this class. 

SATURDAY’S 8am 90 MINS

yin & meditation

INTROSPECTIVE, STILL, POTENT.

Yin Yoga is a practice of stillness, introspection and patience. Its long held poses,( 3-5 minutes) target deep into the connective tissues of the body, unlocking long held tensions and emotions and clearing blockages to leave you body feeling refreshed and like having just had a deep massage. 

A potent and powerful class ~ perfect for those who those who are highly active, for those who suffer from chronic illness, anxiety or depression & for those who simply just need to sit in more stillness.. A great class for athletic recovery, to ease tire and aching muscles and bodies and in general, assisting the life process of ageing. Suitable for all levels. 

This class is not suitable for those are suffering from Acute injuries.

SUNDAY’S 11am 90 mins

SUNRISE FLOW

This class is a Vinyasa Flow class and is designed to prepare you for your day ahead. We will activate and prime the body, leaving plenty of space for you to curate your own practice as needed. Whether you want a restful start or a active flow, you can take as little or as much as you need.

Suitable for all levels, although useful to have some yoga experience.
